Day 1 meals included: dinner
In the morning, flight to Bariloche. Reception at Bariloche airport and 65 Km Transfer up to the confluence of Traful and Limay rivers. Briefing during lunch, we prepare the bicycles and start cycling through Paso Córdoba towards San Martín de Los Andes village. Unbelievable views from the winding tracks: steppes, woods, lakes, streams, valleys and the ever-present mountain range of The Andes. Welcome dinner, lodging at a central hotel of the typical mountain village of San Martín de los Andes on the Lácar Lake shore. Mountain bike: 35 kms

Day 2 full board
Early breakfast, transfer and then start off towards Chile through the Carirriñe Pass (closed during the winter season), which is a winding narrow path bordered by exuberant native vegetation. 4WD backup to ensure a save trip. Dinner and lodging at a Thermal Water Center in the middle of nowhere with an incredible star-clustered sky above. Mountain bike: 65 km

Day 3, 4 full board
“In Volcano Villarrica domains” Cycling during the morning over Añiques Mount and then passing onto Coñaripe, Licanray and Villarrica. The breathing Villarrica Volcano (2.840 m) is imposing. Transfer up to a resort on the shores of the Curaco River, with unique architecture, confortable rooms and tempered swimming pool. You will love the typical Chilean Patagonic lamb barbecue as well as the very good wine.

“In Volcano Llaima domains”
After an early breakfast, cycling the morning through Conguillio National Park in the domains of Llaima Volcano (3.125 m), the most active volcano in South America with 10 eruptions in the XX century. It´s a once-in-a-lifetime experience: volcanic lava fields amid araucaria woods, volcanic lagoons and startling landscapes. We are in the territory of a prehistoric survivor: The Araucaria, a millenarian tree reaching up to 50 meters, with a cylindrical trunk over 2 meters D, and which is thought to be the most ancient living being of the planet. We cross the Conguillio National Park from South to North, i.e. from the Truful Truful Waterfall up to the end of the park. Dinner and lodging at a thermal water resort at Malalacahuello, close to Lonquimay Volcano (2.865 m).

Day 5 full board
“Mapuches on sight” After breakfast and a thermal bath, short transfer up to Corralco Mount and the challenge of overcoming the Raíces Hill at 1.639 m and then biking downhill up to Lonquimay and lunch. The winding paths, among lengas and araucarias, are mostly of volcanic sand. In the afternoon, transfer up to Icalma (Mapuche reservation in the high Bio Bio River) and the challenge of crossing over the border pass and arriving to Argentinian ground. Lodging in a dream-like inn on the shores of the Aluminé Lake. Mountain bike: 45 kms

Day 6 full board
“The power of the Aluminé River” Still in Mapuche territory we go South following the Aluminé River with its troubled, crystalline green-blue waters. There are 63 kms up to Aluminé Village and its hearty welcome with home-made pasta. Then, nearing Junín de Los Andes village, the imposing view of the colossus of the region, the majestic Lanín Volcano (3.776 m)! A 40-km transfer up to San Martín de Los Andes where dinner and lodging are waiting for us. Mountain bike: 79 kms

Day 7 Full Board
“The Seven Lakes Route” From San Martín de los Andes up to Villa La Angostura there are 104 kms. The mythical Seven Lakes Route, half paved and half gravel, will take us through a wonder of lakes, rich native woods and beautiful mountains. After 65 kms we shorten the trip boarding 4WD vehicles. Typical Argentinian barbecue dinner (it is said to be the best in the world) at a “quincho”, a thatched roof open place where most Argentines invite friends for a barbecue. Lodging at an apart hotel with sauna, a tempered swimming pool and a garden with a lake view. Mountain bike 65 kms.

Day 8 Full Board
To Bariloche through Quetrihue” Breakfast and departure cycling toward Quetrihue Peninsula, a spectacular 12-km footpath taking us up to the unique myrtle (arrayán) woods. From there we board a motorboat that will pass by Victoria Island and leave us at Puerto Pañuelo (Port). Cycling the last kilometers on a road skirting Nahuel Huapi Lake up to our lodging on its shore. Dinner at a typical home-made beer factory to savor smoked delights. Mountain bike: 39 kms

Day 9 Morning off for shopping at the commercial center of Bariloche city and transfer to the airport. Flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer downtown Buenos Aires or international airport. End of services
